February 2018
It was the first meeting of the year but due to icy conditions turnout was low. Jim and Maz volunteered to organise a short run for the 25th and as usual for this time of year MG’s weren’t obligatory.
It was a beautiful crisp sunny morning and six cars (two more would be joining later) left Sizergh and headed east over the M6. Turning right onto the A6070 towards Holme and Burton stopping at the Clearwater Fisheries at Borwick for coffee.
Back on the road and using more minor roads we travelled south then east through Wray joining the A65 which would take us north to Ireby and lunch at The Green Farm Cafe, which incidentally does a very good Sunday roast! Thanks Jim and Maz.
