We
had a very pleasant evening run on the 27th. Eight cars came from all
directions to meet at the Newfield Inn at Seathwaite in the Duddon Valley for
drinks and a chat. The skies were clear and the scenery stunning and we were
rewarded with a beautiful sunset on the journey home.
Earlier
this month six members enjoyed a four day holiday in Jersey. The weather was
warm and sunny and they spent three days exploring, in their MG’s, the islands
many attractions such as the War Tunnels, Elizabeth Castle, and Jersey Pearl
and many more besides. Preliminary plans are being considered for a return
journey next year.
We welcomed two new member to the club at our monthly
meeting. Also, we congratulate Mick and Barbara on their recent marriage and we
wish them many happy years together.  | |
